Our Story

A place where the oaks whisper and the vines take root.

Whispering Oaks began with a simple conviction: that great wine doesn't need a grand estate or a complicated story. It just needs patient hands, good soil, and a little bit of Florida sunshine.

Nestled along County Road 475 in Oxford, our vineyard sits among live oaks draped in Spanish moss — the kind of setting that makes you slow down and savor the moment. Every grape we grow, every batch we ferment, and every bottle we label carries that same sense of place.

We're not in the business of rushing. Our wines age the way they should — slowly, deliberately, and with care. The result is a collection that tastes like intention.

Ocellarus Red

Our flagship red

Bold blackberry and dark cherry with a velvet finish. Aged in French oak for 14 months — this is the wine that started it all.

Muscadine Blush

Off-Dry

Southern heritage

Native Florida muscadine grapes, pressed gently and fermented cool. Juicy strawberry and grape notes with a soft, lingering sweetness.

Summer Breeze

Crisp

Refreshing white

Light as the afternoon breeze through the oaks. Notes of green apple, honeysuckle, and a whisper of citrus. Perfect on the porch.

Temple Hill Reserve

Full-Bodied

Limited release

Our most serious wine. 22 months in American oak, dense plum and mocha, with tannins that soften like an old friendship. Only 300 cases per vintage.

Oakhurst Rosé

Dry Rosé

Sun-kissed

Pale salmon hue, bright raspberry, and a clean, mineral finish. Made the old-fashioned way — short skin contact, no rush, just patience.

Fig & Honey

Dessert

Sweet ending
